В сборник включены его предисловия из Комментария к Мишне, которые могут дать определенное представление об этом труде, несмотря на то что сам Комментарий «остается за кадром». Кроме того, приводится два небольших предисловия Рамбама, связанных с «Афоризмами» Гиппократа.
