And it is Torah Ohr that so vividly reflects the unique personality of its author who was a genius Sage of Torah, on the one hand, and the great healer of souls, on the other. Torah Ohr (Torah is Light) is the most important collection of the teachings of Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liady, the founder of the Lubavitch Hasidism, collected and edited by his grandson, the third Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel, also known as the Tzemach Tzedek.

These sermons are devoted to the structure of the world, the structure of the soul, and the ways of serving the Almighty. This is the first time that the book is published in Russian translation. It is addressed to a thoughtful reader interested in the mystical, philosophical, and ideological aspects of Judaism. The classic Chassidic work is accompanied with comments, detailed notes and reference materials, prepared specifically for this edition.
